For many years in the world of Greco-Roman and Neoclassical LEGO architecture I had seen only 2x2 round bricks for columns topped with Ionic capitals or this common 4x4 design topped with Doric capitals: [link]

When the new "bent" cow horn was released with the Medieval Market Village, I was inspired to take the challenge of packing as much detail into a column capital as was required by the more ornate Corinthian capital. This was the result, built for the same 4x4 design - and photographed - in 2011.
